Early Morning Bird Watching

The weather this weekend was supposed to be uncommonly good for August, so I asked Dixie if she wanted to go somewhere to look at birds. We had not decided on a place yet, but then coincidentally, I ran across a garage sale on Craigslist that had Lego listed, and it happened to be right next to Rabbit Run Park in St. Peters. So that’s where we wound up.

We spent about an hour just walking the trails. It’s a pretty park and we saw some birds. Then we made a stop at Old Town Donuts on the way home so Dixie could get an apple fritter. It was a good start to the day. There are a few photos in my album.
