Today Was A Good Day

Not only was today the beginning of my two-week Christmas break, but I was also able to announce (finally!) the names of the first Mizzou students to be awarded the Pipes Family Foundation Scholarship. I hope this is the start of a long tradition, although I have to admit the selection process this year was longer and more painful than I was anticipating. But I’ve been assured that next year will go more smoothly.

To top it off, I finished the day volunteering with a handful of other Boeing employees to set up a massive toy giveaway for residents of the City of Berkeley.

And I didn’t even have to use my AK.
