where I talk with my inside voice
The kids wanted to set up the garage again this year for Halloween, and this time I posted a short video clip on Nextdoor to try to advertise and generate a bigger crowd than we had last year. I guess it worked – we had more than last year, but still not a ton. We still had fun.
It had been several years since I last set up the haunted garage. Since the kids weren’t trick-or-treating this year, they asked if we could set it up. We didn’t get a lot of visitors this time around, but it was still fun constructing everything and making the house look spooky.
The kids both carved their pumpkins and went trick-or-treating on Main Street in St. Charles, as well as around our own neighborhood. A good time was had by all. Photos are up in my album.
