Gala Season

Last weekend, Dixie and I attended the Blue-Tie Gala for Duo Dogs, and tonight, we went downtown to the Fete du Feather at the Hyatt. I had already bought tickets for tonight’s event a couple of months ago, and then Boeing offered us two seats at the Duo Dogs event, so we’ve been quite the social butterflies this month.

The World Bird Sanctuary brought several of their ambassador birds to the gala. Here’s a quick view of Patriot flying over the crowd. I could feel the downdraft on the right side of my face!
