Life Science Quest

Josie was among 30 high school students in Missouri selected to attend a week-long career camp called Life Science Quest at Mizzou. Each day was spent touring different facilities and labs, along with a couple of visits to off-campus locations, all with the purpose of exposing the students to many different career paths that are available within the College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (CAFNR).

We dropped her off on Sunday, and she was still undecided, but leaning towards Environmental Science. We picked her up tonight, and she was also considering Biochemistry, and she’s settled on Mizzou as her choice for school (applications open in two weeks). So it was definitely worthwhile.

The 30 students were divided into teams of 5, and at the closing ceremony, each team selected a member to speak for them. Josie was chosen to speak for her team. We are very proud of our young lady.
