Missouri History Museum

I took the kids to the History Museum to see the new and improved exhibit on the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair. They did a great job putting it together and there are a ton of interesting artifacts on display, including a lead crystal punchbowl very similar to my grandmother Ellen’s. This might be our last homeschool “field trip” since Noah leaves soon for college. I’m sure glad that I got so many opportunities to take the kids places, and I’m also grateful that our city has so much to offer in the way of cultural landmarks. Over the years, we’ve enjoyed just about every art museum there is, the zoo, the Science Center, and a lot more. It’s a little sad that this is the end of an era, but I am hopeful that we will still be able to go places in the future, even if it’s not as often.
