Van Cort Pocket Watch
My wonderful girlfriend Dixie bestowed upon me the most enchanting gift for St. Valentine’s Day. It is an exquisite pocketwatch made by Van Cort Instruments that not only provides the time but the current phase of the moon. She also had a short passage engraved on the back of the watch, commemorating a recent stargazing outing. Needless to say, it is my most prized possession.
do you know how much this watch will cost now? I can’t seem to find it anywhere on the web!
Sadly, Van Cort went out of business several years ago.
I have this watch and I want to sell it. The girl who gifted it to me had it engraved with the following Smashing Pumpkins Lyric:
“Time is never time at all”
Its been living in its original case since it was gifted to me almost 15 years ago, and the battery is dead. The case itself has seen better days, but the watch is in good condition.
